Would you KILL SOMEONE ? - Mercy KILLING :(

I hope most of you here know about mercy killing. I am from india and it is legally banned and considered as a crime to do mercy killing. In some countries it is allowed by law to do it. what do you think about it? what's your vote for mercy killing ? would you say YES or NO ? Most of the people would say NO for it because no one would like someone to die. But when we see the sufferings of those who patients who are in bed for years, i just feel that its right to kill them(of course with their knowledge) rather than to let them suffer a LIFE SENTENCE with a lot of pain.. Would you kill someone in such a position? Whats your vote for mercy killing? YES or NO ? WHY?
