What kind of water do you drink? Where do you purchase your water?

I have tried several water bottle brands and my favorite is Deja Blue water, however purchasing water bottles can be costly and not necessary because you can purchase water by the gallon BUT I am extremely picky too. The machines that are 5, 10, 20, 25, even 30 cents are nasty tasting because their filters aren't clean often and are smaller.
I purchase water from a water store where the filter is cleaned on time and the filter machine is HUGE! The water tastes great and is fresh.. when the store opened a few years ago it was only 30 cents, good deal then it went up to 35 cents then 40 cents and recently it went up 50 cents! It is just getting way too costly.... now. My family also cooks with drinking water too!
Now, we're buying the Brita water pitcher purifier for water to cook to save money and drink water from the water store.
I'm curious what others do about water.. since we all need water.
Do you drink water from the bottle, sink water, water from the store??

come on people. Do you really buy water? In my country we make ourselves wells. Pay a guy money to make the hole in the ground and to put the installation. Or if you are a Do It Yourself person will cost you less. Maintenance of well water is cheap. You clean it once per year, take samples to the Health Lab in your town to see if it fits to drinking. In our area there are not so much trouble with pollution and because many people take water from the same well the water is recirculated very rapidly(so the pollution if there is some will be diluted very easily). I stopped at cleaning. Cleaning is removing algae or musk from the walls of a wells if there are. Very few wells grow this such things. You put some rock salt and some lime (that used for painting) to kill the bacteria and its good for drinking after 3-4 days. And after that if you and your neighbors use daily the well it does not catch any mysterious odor, it stay cleaned because the usage of the water is very frequently. We have wells in the city you know. do not need to buy from the store, we buy only mineral water. But if you are lucky like me, and live in Romania, here we have a lot of mineralized waters (all types). Surely we buy products like Dorna, Izvorul minunilor,Tusnad, Perla Harghitei, Bilbor which are extracted from natural springs which are naturally mineralized. I know that are country that buys water because of their geololy, like Greece, they buy water from Romania because they have red stones (red soil) which affect the quality f the water.

for precaution, i do buy distilled water for drinking at home. Since we have water dispenser then we buy in gallons that will last for 2 weeks. These are only for drinking and the dispenser gives us both hot and cold water. We do not drink water from the faucet for precaution since it might have amoeba in it and for my children's safety i would rather spend more on the distilled water.

In our City, many of the people do not buy water from the store because our water here is really clean and safe to drink. So no need to buy water from the store because it is a waste of money. But still some of the people in our City prefers to drink bottled or purified water because they are afraid of getting some disease.

Hello, I drink a lot of bottled water, the brand I drink is usually Icemountain. I use to drink Nicolete but it is way to expensive. I'm very picky when it comes to my bottled water because some brands have a kinda bitter taste to it; Icemountain and Nicolete do not. I most prefer Icemountain because of the price, I can get a 36 bottle case for $3.96 at woodman's I never thought of buying by the gallon, My husband doesn't drink water...and I take water with me to work.

We used to drink tap water when I was still a kid. Later on, we started using Brita for our drinking water. Despite that, I caught amoebiasis somewhere, maybe an unsanitary restaurant, and because of that my mom was buying water from a water store while my other relatives drink from the Brita. Outside the house, I would only drink filtered water from restaurants. If the utensils seem slippery and I get suspicious, we would ask for it to be replaced (there was one restaurant that makes use of dishwasher that doesn't seem to get the job done). Overtime, it's become costly and we thought I can start drinking filtered water again. Aside from the cost, the water jugs are quite heavy. Now, we have stopped buying water from the store and I drink water filtered by Brita. Really funny coincidence, we just bought another filter earlier today. A salesperson was offering a filter system for the faucet but sorry for him, we trust Brita more.

I only drink the bottle water or boiled water at home. My husband drins the water from the sink and I don't; he says that it is strange for me to boil the water before drinking it but it is my habbit for years and I can't just get rid of this habit besides, I think to kill all the germs in the water before I drink it.

well in my country it is not advisable to drink straight from the tap so we acquire some sort of purified water company to supply us with clean water.

Well, no wonder that water is just so important in today's world.Happy Mylot.

We have this machine called the ozonizer which adds oxygen molecules to water. By the way, our water here is potable so after we fill our water containers in the faucet, we use the ozonizer to practically ozonize the water. We do it for 30 minutes and that's it, it's ready for drinking.

I purchase mineral water in containers from our local supplier here in our place. Their company has been in the business for about 5 years now in operation. I am assured of the best quality mineral water supply having 12 stages reverse osmosis process. Although it cost me around 40 pesos each container times 4 containers a week which are delivered to my home free of charge, i did get a pure, healthy quality drink for me and my family. Nowadays, water supplied by our local water district here is no longer safe to drink, due to the fact our water source might be contaminated from mining leaks. So to make it safe, we have to use mineral water to take care of our daily needs.

I drink Aquifina. I tend to buy the 24 pack of bottles, although sometimes I get the smaller packages. I usually buy it from grocery stores, although sometimes I get it from places such as Target or Wal-Mart.
It is pricey (even when it's on sale), but it is worth every penny when it comes to my family.
Happy mylotting!

We sometimes take tap water but most of the time, we avail of the purified water delivered in our house. Sometimes, we also buy water in the grocery. I know we should really be aware that what we are drinking is safe because we can have so many sickness if we have consumed dirty water.
