That's one reason why I rarely sell on ebay because sometimes the smallest thing can trigger a buyer to flip out, and sometimes it does not matter what you do to resolve the issue its just not worth the grief. but thankfully I have only experienced one disgruntled buyer, and my rating is still 100% but I haven't forgot that experience, and today I was just browsing and I happened to remember it
Anyway have you ever had to deal with a disgruntled buyer?

I am completly with you on this one. I am both a buyer and seller on ebay so I see both worlds...
My rating is 100% but I have my share of bitter and disgruntled buyers. There's always a few of them who have to ruin it for everyone.
First we have the buyers who are unhappy with something about their transaction/purchase, but DO NOT contact the seller first to try to resolve the problem before leaving nasty feedback! I really hate this because I put in BIG LETTERS on every item I list to PLEASE CONTACT ME BEFORE LEAVING NEGATIVE OR NEUTRAL FEEDBACK IF THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH YOUR ORDER! I WILL WORK WITH YOU TO MAKE IT RIGHT! But nope, there were the few who completly ignored this.
Then we have the people who think they know absolutely everything, and they're right and you're wrong no matter what, even if there is proof right in front of their faces (e.g. in the item description) that they are flat out WRONG. (this one is self explanatory).
There are also the buyers who seem to think all sellers have intimate relations with the postal service. Like we can MAKE them get their item there faster. And if it arrives a week or later after shipping it out, watch out because the nasty seller star ratings will be paying you a visit!
In aisle four we have the buyers who claim they never received their item but really did (I learned my lesson about insurance the hard way), and the ones who claim their item was damaged beyond resendable condition (like a make up tube exploded or something to that effect) and demand a refund, and last but not least, the non-paying bidders who make every effort to make you believe they vanished into thin air.
Alas, there are many crappy buyers on ebay. It's just something people who want to make money have to deal with. I try not to let it bother me too much. The "good" buyers do outweigh the "bad" though, and thank God for that.

I had only one bad buyer so far- and I had a feeling this person was going to be a bad buyer before he even made the purchase, due to the ridiculous questions he had asked beforehand...
Luckily I am still at 100%- but I had to give a full refund along with a free item, to keep it that way.
Some people also get really finicky about the shipping time- eBay sellers don't control the mail people! Complain to the post office if things aren't going as fast as they should be!
