if it asked to me my answer is a big no without any hesitation this games doesn't give the interest that a international matches give and the main point is to whom i support if there is no team of one city in the ipl?? many of people have this question in their mind when they see the match. Do you think as i think and do you like to spend the time in watching the IPL matches..?

Dear Siliguri,
I do not hate IPL, but I do not watch it like I used to. I watch the matches of a couple of teams. That is about it. And I believe the interest is fading away from a lot of people too.
I believe that the reason for this is because of the frequency at which it is played. We have IPL, ICL and T20 World cup happening too often. By often I mean every year. Bigger tournaments become a success when people yearn to watch it, when they miss it. Here they get to see it so much that people do not miss it.
May be ICC should make it happen only once every two years or so. But when there is so much money involved, I do not know if it will be possible or not...!!!!

You are right people had became now used to it and the frequency by which it is played out t20 became a day to day type not more interesting , i have fallen interest in it.
IPL must be short and the no of matches 74 too much in 2 month very long time.
The player i think of them, they just had played the world cup now the IPL no time to rest how will they manage?
Any way the big business tycoon has involved in it and that alot of money so it will not going to be controlled the money matter more and so for the team owners BCCI as well as the player who invloved in it.
ICC has no role to play in IPL so ICC can't restrict the IPL but see there very few International t20 were played!!!!
One biggest benefit of IPL is that the unknown talented local player get chances to prove them. Young player perform to came in action

It is a real time waster...
IPL is the cricket for the people who doesn't know cricket from it's ROOT and BASIC
I only like to say for IPL it is a Income & Party League for cricketers as well as sponsors
This is the REALITY

Frankly saying now I am not having any interest to watch this IPL matches.Don't know why.But at the same time last I watched almost all the IPL matches.I think this year's lack interest may be due to the reason that now India is having the possession of World Cup and I am sure no other Trophy could compete against it....

I would say I love watching IPL. I used to support KKR before till Dada (Saurav Ganguly) was there. Kolkata is my hometown. Now NO Dada NO KKR. But I like IPL because you can see flood of fours and sixes. The players are combined with permutation combinations :lol :laughs But I think it is good for the youngstars. Watching IPL is a refreshment of mind and is an entertainment. I am supporting Mumbai Indians for Sachin Tendulkar and Lasith Malinga. I don't think watching IPL is a waste of time.

Actually we need to understand several things and not to get carried away by emotions. Whatever there were many issues for removing him. The same issue didn't opt any other team to get him included, Aussies are few feared of him that's why Preity Zinta couldn't get him having an Australian coach. But the main issue is his presence has some ego problem, he raised some unnecessary issues, invited unnecessary troubles which hampered the KKR team. Saurav himself played well but others were inconsistent. They sparked sometimes but couldn't get the momentum going on. E.g. is Chris Gayle, Brendon McCullum. However I have changed my decision. New team is doing good and I will support them again. The main reason is Gautam Gambhir. He is doing what Saurav failed to achieve i.e. build an united team and give the best in the field. Good Luck to them. Kolkata is understanding the same so they are coming to Eden again and cheering for them.

Yes I like to watch IPL because in International Cricket only the country's play and naturally I would support Only India. In domestic competition like Ranji trophy mostly the established player doesn't play. But in IPL in every team the best Indian Player's including ranji player's and the best players of the other countries would play and moreover in IPL no team is less than no team Every team are one so naturally Every matches tends to be interesting. So i Would love to watch IPL matches.

I think IPL is a great concept. Though things such as strategic time outs really take the fun out of the games. I thought the new board would remove these strategic time outs, but the charm of money seems to have won in this aspect. Of course, I really do not feel the urge to not miss any matches. I look at it like some of the multiplex movies which are fatafat movies without too much content, but generally fun to watch.
Cheers!
