Rearranging your home

So I rearrange a room a week or so in my home. It's a constant habit. I put the house one way and I soon find out that it's just not functioning the way that I want it to. With 2 dogs and 2 kids nothing ever is really functional but I try my best.
Some peoples homes I know are the same every time I go there. I look around and see ways it would be more functional. It's something my head and eyes just do. I wonder how they can go never wondering how it would be if it were different. And not trying something new.
What about you do you rearrange frequently, sometimes, or never?
Do you think this can say a lot about a person, like if they are welcoming to change or not?
And one more question do you practice Feng Sui in your home or know anyone who does. I think it's does make a big difference. Our home is set up so weird I have had trouble putting things in a Feng Sui way. But for those who have a lot of space would you try it?

There is always room for improvement right? and we only find out what works best by trying new things.

Hi natnickeep, i don't rearrange my home, but my mom does that every one she like doing, but i sometimes get irritated, because she keep changing the places of the things, when i got less time to get ready to office , then i have to search for those and it takes lots of time.

Yea I try to keep things in the same places some what or at least tell my man where the important things are if I move them. He gets a little lost sometimes too.

I do rearrange sometimes, and also change some furnitures or appliances.
Last 2 years ago i did changed all my appliances and upgraded to new one.
In my hometown, since my parents home have a big space,i always rearrange things when i visit there and i like to have a new look of it everytime i am there.

I love tubs, they store away stuff so nicely. Seasonal stuff is what drives me nuts. Putting it away, taking it back out. I am not big on holiday decorating lets just say. Cause I don't want the stuff sitting in my closet for the whole rest of the year.

I do rearrange our living rooms sometimes and the dining table's position, to look more spacious and scattered free.

I know what you are saying. I like to rearrange the furniture once in a while to have a refreshing look for the living room especially. Sometimes you just have to move it to find out whether it looks good or notinstead of picturing it in your mind. Sometimes it just doens't look right and sometimes it looks great; I know alittlebit of feng shuiand try to make it as harmony as I could.
I just re arrgane the furniture a month ago because my baby's toys take up a lot of lot of spce, you know the bouncer, walker and stuff so I empty a corner is for his toy.

Yep that's another thing. When we accumulate something new of adequate size it's like we have to start all over again. Making everything fit just right. And the younger the kids are it seems the more adjusting you would have to do.

I think it's a mom's thing to always want to change something at home and rearrange them. My mom does that almost every month or when she has free time. As for me, I really don't see much difference unless I find something disturbing or blocking my way. At home, if we have a more spacious place, probably, we would consider Feng Shui especially since my mom is quite the superstitious type. I do help in rearranging our home during weekends and find it surprising to feel like something's are way better than before.

Yes we learn where things fit better and where we can use them more easily. I would love to live feng shui style but my doors and windows are in odd places to where certain furniture I have to put in certain spots or it will be blocking things. I think it gives a sense of something new and fresh for sure.

In my household, we hardly move things. My parents like the way things are but once a year they will change things up to make the house look different.
On the other hand, my boyfriends family is like you, they love to rearrange rooms weekly :) They like to keep busy and rearrange stuff.

What a really neat topic. I like to rearrange my furniture at least twice a month. My husband gets a little frustrated sometimes, but he gets use to it. I think the house feels cleaner when you pull everything out and clean behind and under the couch, tables ect. Sometimes I will actually go out and buy new curtains and accessories to help with a new look and feel of the room. I am not sure what Feng Sui is. I will look into it. It sounds interesting.

Yes my man comes home and picks on me, you rearranged again? lol. What was wrong with the way it was. Nothing to him when he works all day, comes home and sits on the couch and zones into xbox. But things not being in a good and convenient place drives me crazy. So ya I at least rearrange something once a week. Maybe not a whole room, but something moves.
