Who uses online money as sole income?

I'm hoping to get to the stage in a couple of years time where I am using the money that I earn online as my sole income, so that I can spend my spare time doing what I enjoy rather than being stuck in an office all day. How many people here can honestly say that they already do this, and how long did it take for you to get up to the stage that you're at now?

I can't say that I can, but I was interested enough in your discussion to comment. I consider myself a part time online worker, being that I only make a few hundreds a month. Well, this money that I do make helps out a lot. It helps out on bills like my car note for example, and other small bills. I wish I could say that this is my sole income, but i also work outside of home which pays the majority of my bills. I'm not complaning either way, I'm happy with both incomes and I would rather be working outside of home for the experience. I'm in school right now, so I don't want to waste my time and money on something that I don't need.

I am a paid survey taker, from several survey sites. In order to make a decent amount of money online you will need to sign up with a lot of different sites. I have about 21, but only use 5-7 of them daily. if you are interested i will send you a private message of the survey sites i am a member of.

I just hope that you can find online work that would help you towards your goal of being financially independent from an office job. Because personally, I don't see it! I think that for online work to be equal to the lowest paying office job, you'd have to work 24/7. Which defeats the purpose of being out of the office.

I could not live off of internet money alone right now. I do make good money monthly but my husband works outside of the home and makes more than I do. I may get up to that income potential soon though.

It's good that your husband is supporting you by bringing a wage home too. This gives you the potential to increase your own earnings whilst knowing that you have at least one wage to support you. I would love it if my partner earned, but sadly he is unemployed at the moment. It gets tiring being the biggest earner in the relationship.

ONline money as sole income?? haha =D That's still not possible as for now! I"m earning less than $50 a month and how can that be my sole income right? UNless i'm starting my own site, only then i might be able to live off those earnings. Earnings of an online worker is much lower than employees in an office. IF one wants high income, start something. That should be the way. haha

I don't think online workers always earn less than they would in an office job. Certainly not if they worked as hard as they'd have to if their boss was watching them, anyway. I tend to find that I earn more now, but it was a slow build up and I had to start earning literally $1 per day and slowly building it up to a proper wage which I could live on and support my family with. I was lucky that I had a family who were willing to support me financially while I did this, but I know that not everyone is as lucky as I am.

Although i had spend some time earning through online but i still seems unable to make it as my sole income. Because the earning is not much, so it is impossible to replace my income from my off-line job. I think only those who are having online business able to earn decent income from it. And thus, can make it as their sole income. As for me, it is still impossible and not sure whether i have the chance to earn that much.

I am just getting started making money online, and I am lucky if I make a dollar online most days. I do hope to eventually get to the point of making a full time income online, but it looks like it will be a long and hard road for me.

Believe it or not, $1 per day isn't actually all that bad for an earning, particularly if you don't really spend all that much time on the internet. When I first started, that's how much I made too, but you soon find other bits and pieces that earn for you here and there. I got $50 from a website that I hadn't used for weeks the other day, just because my referrals are still active, and I expect for them to carry on earning me ~$10 per month; which is an added bonus as I no longer remain active on that particular website myself anymore.

Yes, BUT wait. I use it as my sole income but that doesn't mean I make very much. Before I started using mylot I'd make maybe one dollar a week if I was lucky. I'm not happy about it being my sole income but I can't seem to find a job right now. I'm looking but feeling down on my luck and so it's caused me not to look as hard as I should look.

I wish I could make money online. I make a ew extra bucks, but not enough. I am hoping to make enough money so I can pay off my credit card and also make enough to buy paint. The house needs a lot of work and if I can make a few extra bucks online to pay for the paint I will be a happy camper. I would love to make money strickly online since the economy is getting worse in the US and teaching jobs are really hard to find.

This is how many people start earning, just in little bits and trying out different methods. Soon, you will be able to find something that will work for you, you just have to keep trying and experimenting with new ideas and methods. I find it helpful to look around forums to see what other people are doing, and some people offer free e-guides to making money online, which can be good if you're trying to break you way into earning the big money.
