Do you think that time makes us forget what's going wrong in our lives?

After you have lost something or someone in your life, while you had to forget? Have you forgotten what really bad happened to you in life?
Are you afraid that you might forget something that's hard to break you? even if you cry and you very much regretted, forgetting that you're afraid to come ....?
Makes us think that forgetting to move forward, or something very beneficial not only for losing memories?

When something bad or disastrous takes place in our life we try to put it out of our mind and move on.Time is a great healer and soon we find that what has happened before is now just a dim memory. However for our own good we should not forget what has happened because then if something similar is about to take place we will become wary and take corrective steps so that we will not get hurt again. The wise men do not forget what has taken place but they see that it does not affect their mind. They react positively and take all mishaps as lessons to be learned in life.

It is said that time is the best healer. Though I must say that I’m lucky that I’ve not yet have any extremely bad incidents in my life or have not yet lost any near and dear person, but there were times too when the going was bad. Also, people in the extended family have passed away, relations, aunts and uncles and at that moment, I did feel bad but yes, those memories are no longer that fresh. Sometimes I do pause and ponder upon the fact that there were quite a few people in my life who are no longer and I would not see them again in my entire life…the feeling is scary!

Yes, the feeling are so scary, but unfortunatly are so real, every time when i lose somebody from my family, i said; ok, this is life life is life, all of us soon or later will go "there"....but after i lose my mother almost 2 years ago, i can t forgot, same pain, every day, same memories...so now time seems that don t work so good.

I think one of my favorite quotes is by Winston Churchill. It goes "The farther backward you can look, the farther forward you can see" I have a sister that passed away about 11 years ago She was taken too young. I found this in a book I was reading. I wish I could remember what book it was It really helped me to get through the loss
