When I was in grade school/high school that was a time that felt rather strange. The year was almost over. Well sometimes at least if the Break fell in the middle or end of April. If it fell earlier, that it was a long two and a half months. Yet, it was business as usual. I tried to give everything my best effort possible, yet I found it hard to focus. My mind was pulling ahead to the three months(well actually more like two and a half months) off in the summer and the weather was nice. The last place I wanted to be was cooped up inside the classroom. I think when May hit, a lot of teachers were feeling the same way and that's when we did a lot of lighter work, after getting the last couple of tests out of the way. No one wants to learn or teach something new with about two weeks left after all. Still having a week off threw me off my routine, especially when the longer vacation was not that far away and the weather was getting nice.

Let me say, I know how you feel man. I am going to ITT and we don,t even get a break. I miss grade school and high school. It seemed we were always getting a break. Hoooray for spring break and all others for that matter. Grab a seat and relax.

I think that things were a lot less hectic in Grade School and even High School. Its just going to get more insane from this moment. Just hang on, enjoy the ride, and hope that you don't get thrown off by the absolute insanity. That is just really the nature of life. Thanks for responding. Its appreciated. Have a nice day.

Right now, my two kids are on their spring break. They only have one week out of school. Many people that live in another city or the college students had their spring break much earlier. As soon as this week is over with, my kids will be right back into school. My oldest daughter will be getting out of school in about two more weeks. Yippeee! No more getting her dressed and walking her to her school bus! My son, on the other hand will have to go to school until June. So that pretty much means that my daughter will be getting out of school almost a month before her brother does. I just can't wait until all both of them are getting out of school. I would like to see this new change.
