Most parents try to instill wholesome values in their children. Do you feel this is important? How do you do this with your children? I think that teaching wholesome values to our children is very important. In general there aren't a lot of values out there so I think it's important to teach my child to have high values. This will help them to have a greater respect for themselves as well.

I do think it is important to teach high values and morals. When these things went our of style in Greece they fell, in Roman times morals went out the window and their civilization fell. Here morals are being ignored and all you see on news programs and in papers is depressing acknowledgement of it. So yes it is important or our nation too will fail. Not to mention the kids who are not taught manners and morals are so annoyingly misbehaved!

I think that is extremely important to teach children values, and to live by a moral code. My parents believed this, and taught me to always be honest and do the right thing even if it is not the easiest thing to do. I do not have any kids, but if I ever do, I am going to teach them the same. Living this way has its benefits, such as never getting into deep trouble for doing something wrong, or even deeper for lying about it afterwords.
