i live in the usa right now and have a girlfriend that lives in the uk. my problem is that everytime i try to get some info on the proper visa i cant get a straight answer. and seems like there is an obstacle when trying to get a visa.
she is disabled and is on benefits, if i were to move in with her she would lose the benefits that she gets cause of her children. well what i want to do is to just go there, be able to work and save up enough money so we can get married and not have to worry about her benefits anymore.
i have been told that i could go over there, look for work then get a work visa once someone wants to hire me, then i find out i have to be hired before i can get the work visa and i cant seem to get hired because i dont have a work visa, and i cant get the visa unless i get hired.
its very frustrating, i am a certified personal fitness trainer, and was going to school for massage therapy but had to drop out cause i missed alot of classes from being sick and having trouble with my back. am trying to get back in to finish up but no one will return my calls.
sorry this is long winded but im trying to put in as much detail as possible, so if anyone was able to get any visa from the usa to go live in the uk....please give me some advice on this, or if you are a uk employer that would like to hire me please let me know....i spent 9 years in fast food, im a hard worker, 7 years in management and have 5 years experience in cleaning hotel rooms at the grand canyon national park.
