Don't Let Go Of That Mouse!

I have a very irritating problem and don't know what to do about it.Every time i'm surfing the internet or just reading my e-mail,if i happen to let go of the mouse, say for 10 to 20 seconds,i'm automatically taken back to my welcome screen and have to enter my password all over again. Now if this just happened once in awhile,it wouldn't be so frustrating, but it happens all the time and just imagine how bad it can get when you're typing something (and of course the mouse is not being utilized) how annoying this can be to constantly be taken back to the welcome screen. I honestly hope someone can help me with this problem as i have done quite a few searches regarding this problem and haven't as yet found any logical answer.

It sounds to me like there might be some kind of short in your mouse that is causing the page to refresh when the mouse is not in use. If you happen to have an extra mouse sitting around somewhere, the best way to test this hypothesis would be to hook a different mouse up to your computer and see if you still have the same thing happening. That would be the first step that I would take if I had something like that going on with my computer.

Unfortunately, the mouse doesn't seem to be the problem, since i have replaced it more than once and yet continue to have this problem. What really bothers me is, there doesn't seem to be any way to fix it no matter how many ways i've tried, since i have no idea what's causing it and haven't come across anyone with the same problem.but, anyway, thank you for your suggestion, i do appreciate your help.

that might be your start up problem or may b your OS had lost some files which are related to that problem or may be the settings of your mouse...just try to change your all mouse settings to default or else try to format your OS and reinstall it..it will work:)

I don't think your first 2 suggestions are the problem, since i have checked if these might be causing it. I will take your advice regarding my mouse settings and see if this does the trick, Thank you for your help.
