Is there a manual on how to raise children. I am in desperate need of one right about now. Everything seemed to be great. No surprises... Yeah RIGHT! I got huge surprise today.. I am so disappointed. I've shared my disappointment with my child, but how do I move beyond this point and make that disappointment right?
Any parent out there that have been disappointed by their child? Please help! How did you dealt with your disappointment?

Sorry to hear of your disappointment.
In all honesty I have been pretty luck and blessed and have not had any problems, issues and or disappointments with my own children.
I can only offer some humble advice and say that as a parent we love unconditionally so basically you need to try as hard as you can to keep the lines of communication open. We must as parents accept that children will surprise us from time to time and it is up to us to set and or make things right.
Explain to your child as to why you are so disappointed and re-affirm your expectations but make sure to include that you love him/her. Re-explain your rules of home and what is expected of them but you cannot give up hope and at the same time still be the mom no matter how much we want to be a friend. Children will not be perfect and unless they make mistakes in life they will not grow into mature adults, hopefully...

I know that it is the pressure of fitting in and to be part of that is making my child lose her focus. I'm just afraid this lost of focus will hold her back. She has such potentials and would not want it to go to waste. She worked so hard.
Thanks for your humble advice. It is really good advice.
