Some of our Filipino forget the traditional games like sipa, patintero, sikyo, taguan, because our time right now the games is in the computer like online games and network games.

My favorite traditional Filipino games are Luksong Tinik and Patintero. I remember when I was in grade school, we were always playing those games. I studied in the same school until college and as time went by, sadly, less and less children are playing in the school grounds.

I like pantero since it is a team game. We usually do this during summer in the neigborhood. To make it more interesting the team who tries to catch the opposing team passing through the lines must catch thier head & not just any body parts. Well, having taller teammates is a must. Also, this game is a physical game it really makes you sweat so much under the sun.

My favorite game would be patintero, we call it "waring-waring" in our place. When I was young, all the kids in our neighborhood would go out at exactly 2 PM and play games until 6 PM. I like the game because it also develops your strategies and your speed since you need to really run fast..

I would love to master sipa but I'm so poor with that game. I'm not good at patintero too though I like that game. I am good at luksong tinik and sungka. We still have sungka at home and we still played with it. Its a family traditional game. There is a lot of laughter and teasing when playing it so everyone likes it. I love moments like this. The family is happily enjoying life together.

well... I am not sure because it really depends as to who are you playing with.. I remembered playing ten-twenty and Chinese garter with some girl friends in school and even inside the house with my sister.. But when I'm playing with my cousins (majority of them were boys) we would play pogs or text... I had some collections back then... =) good old days...

I like the "tumbang preso" I think? It's where you have to hit the can with a slipper. And also the "Takipsilim" where the person is blindfolded and have to find another person and guess who he/she is.
