Are you using Mturk? I have some questions

I have a question regarding How do I transfer my earnings to my bank account?. Because when I read the FAQ it was indicated that Transfer your earnings to your bank account or to your Amazon.com gift certificate balance, so I am expecting that there is a button of Transfer your earnings to your bank account but then when I am in account settings I've only seen Transfer your earnings to your Amazon.com gift certificate balance. How could I transfer to bank account settings if I am only seeing a transfer for the gift certificate?

Hi, I was an active member of this Mturk from India. As far as I know, Mturk does not provide bank transfer or issues cheques to your country Philippines. Bank transfer option is probably only for USA and they issue bank cheques for India. All other country which they accept, they provide Amazon Gift Certificate as reward. So, before working there, if you do not like their Gift Certificates, you can ask their customer care people for bank cheque facilities. But, I am 100% sure they do not provide any bank cheques for your country as one of my friend from Manila joined and left that Mturk as there was no cash or cheque option for her. Also see their FAQ on payment terms. I wish you all the best.

I actually asked the Mturk regarding that matter so as long as they guarantee to buy gadgets and other things then I decided to continue to work with mturk.

I guess that's the only option left to us, Mturk users from the Philippines. As I've read in some of the forums regarding it and in one of the previous discussion here, we are not allowed to cash out. Mturk does not make use of PayPal's services. They only send checks in US, India and some other countries excluding the Philippines. I am playing with the thoughts of having a relative or a friend receive my payment from the US then wired in the Philippines. As of yet, I'm just playing with the idea. I have not given a serious thought to it. Perhaps when i reach my 100th $, i'll think of ways on how to go about it. As of yet, all i have is just $11. I would want to receive my payment in cash if given the choice, so let me know what are you going to do about your earnings.

Well if you are going to use the amazon gift certificate then does it guarantee that we can buy some appliances or gadgets from their store? For example like flat screen or mobile phones? Something like that.

i guess so. so long as you have enough. i don't thing my $11 will get me anything. it might not even be sufficient to cover for the shipping that's why i opt to cashout instead.

I haven't even read in FAQs regarding the non US resident. Or unless if we have to fill up some form.

Unfortunately, Mechanical Turk doesn't offer withdrawals to a bank account for users in the Philippines. If you are able to send payments with an Amazon Payments account, you might be able to send your earnings to a friend or relative who is willing to swap their Amazon Payments balance for PayPal.

What do you mean sending my earnings to a friend or relatives that is willing to swap amazon payment balance for paypal? Since as what I understand it can't be transferred to paypal.

It can't be directly transferred to PayPal. If you can send payments with your Amazon Payments account, you could send them money that way. Then they could send you the same amount by PayPal. I would only do it with someone you know very well, though!
