It's almost Holy Week guys, it's the time to think of Jesus final days one Earth. It is the last week of Lent and the week before Easter. Usually, I just stay at home and fast over something, last year it was not using the computer. ANd I just watched tv since there were Ghost Whisperer reruns and many other nice movies they put on tv. What do you do or suggest to make the week more memorable, to dedicate it to God and make it worthwhile?

I stay at home too, most of the times. Thank you for your response.. I hope you get closer to God with your deep reflection this Holy Week. I shall try to do that too.

I am sure I had not missed a Visita Iglesia for the last twenty years, but the Kumpisalang Bayan is always done at night, so I sometimes miss confession, like this year. I read the Children's version of the Bible, it has pictures and is written in big letters. I sit on a Maundy Thursday morning and finish the book by the time it the church is ready for the washing of the feet. On Good Friday, after the Visita Iglesia, I listen to the meditations on the Seven Last Words aired on tv. Black sSaturdays, I watch DVD - Ten Commandments, Ben Hur, The Singing Nun, Brother Sun Sister Moon, etc.

I admire what you do every Holy Week. I don't even remember the last time i went to confession, it had been 1 or 2 years since my last one. I sometimes watch movies about Jesus, like Passion of Christ, King of Kings and the like..

there's nothing much to do during the Holyweek. I usually just go to the mass, i usually do movie marathon during these season. Well sometimes,we go to the beach for a short picnic with the family, this is usually done by the people in our place.

Well, it is the time for everyone here to have a break, so many of them usually go on outings and beaches, but I don't think that is the point of Holy Week at all. Thanks for your response.
