I knew that pollution can affect our health condition, but I didn't know that it can totally affect our brain (as to day brain damage, result to memory loss and Alzheimer disease), until recently I read a news from a magazine. I am lucky that I am not living a big city so I am not really worried about that issue. What do you think about it?

I don't know exactly how you can get problems with your brain due to car pollution but knowing the fact that pollution is really harmful to our health, maybe it answers the question. The only question in here is the mechanism of action, or should I say, the pathological explanation why it can totally affect our brain.

I copy some parts of the article for you, to give you a thorough explanation. " Scientist recreated the air born pollutants that come from the burning of fossil fuels and the weathering of car parts pavement, and exposed mice to the harsh air for 15 hours per week over 10 weeks. The tiny particles were "roughly one-thousandth the width of human hair, and too small for car filtration systems to trap," but exerted massive damage on the brain of the expose mice, said the study. "You can't see them but they are inhaled and have an affect on brain neurons that raises the possibility of long-term brain health consequences of free way air," said senior author Calib Finch of the University of Southern California. Scientist found that the exposure resulted in "significant damage," to neurons involved in learning and memory, and they detected, "signs of inflammation association with premature aging and Alzheimer's disease." I hope this will answer your questions.

I didn't know about that as well but pollution is really hazardous to our health so maybe it is true that it affects our brain. If only there is some better way to make our environment cleaner and healthier then the pollution problem will be a thing of the past.

I didn't know it either, until I read. Pollution is of the major causes of health problems, we can't eliminate however we can lessen by doing something, we just need to be aware on how and what to do and everyone should cooperate, pollution is always with us until the moment we leave in this world.
