I used to manage a video store when I was a late teen/early 20's. I would often get bored of JUST watching films or JUST listening to cds... I had EXPERIENCED Dark Side of OZ, and wanted more. I started combining Pink Floyd cds with different filmss! One of the best was A Clockwork Orange! Have you experimented with different combinations? I wanna hear about it! Cheers!

I know before Pink Floyd hit it big with Dark Side, they did the music for two European movies More and Obscured by Clouds, I believe was a soundtrack. I've never seen either movie and I've actually never heard the More soundtrack. It's been ages since I heard Obscured by Clouds and I might need to scrape up money some day to buy both albums.

Awesome question! I love it! I have done the Dark Side of the Rainbow many times...it never gets old! I always find something new each time. I love introducing people to it. I have heard that you can do Floyd with 2001 a space odyssey, but I haven't tried it. If you like Stanley Kubric, I have heard you can sync it with The Shining (one of my fave movies!) I tried it, but couldn't get it right. I should have tried harder though! good luck with it...definitely sounds fun!
