Sometimes I stop for a while and it seems that things were actually done before or sometimes I said that Ive been here before even though its my first time to that place,,
is this what they called Dejavu? Or it is actually a sign of time travel through Mind? the feeling is really weird,..

Hi coldfire,
Deja Vu is actually a French word meaning "already seen."
It normally affects us when we are in a situation for the first time but our mind says we have been there before. The surroundings all look familiar and we know how the conversation will go.
Whether this comes froma previous dream state, where we have glimpsed into our future or whether it is an animalistic safety measure that is locked away in our brain and little used no one is sure about.
Deja Vu, has happened to me on numerious occassions, and although it is a strange, eerie feeling I don't ever feel scared by it. In fact I see it more as a blessing than a curse. Maybe, one day it will kick in and save me from an unpleasant event.

The mind is a complex organ and we only ever use a fraction of it. Some people believe that if you meditate you actually start to use more of the brain in your daily life. I have also read that through meditation and focusing on ones chakra points can help one see back into the past and into the future. This link might help you, discover more

Alternatively, check out this brain exercising site, that gives you simple tests to do to stimulate and increase your brain functioning. It is free to join and will work your brain and reflexes. Good luck!

It's the feeling that you've already experienced the thing that is happening now.
I have Deja vus a lot. I mostly see them in my dreams but completely forget about them. Then someday it just happens and I feel like it has happened before, then I remember it was my dream. It's really strange though. I wonder if dreams can predict our future

I have also experienced the same thing in where my dreams were became reality ,, another thing that i also wonder is how we formulate our dreams knowing that we are suppose to be resting while we are sleeping yet our mind is imaginating,,

Hello coldfire. Actually, during my high school days, my friends discussed that kind of stuff. I actually experienced those stuffs. That the present happenings had once happened before.
I don't know if it is really true. ^^

Hello coldfire0430, yes this feeling is really weird, the experience of feeling that we have already experienced the current situation exactly! The feeling of Deja vu is a compelling sense of familiarity, a sense of eeriness and as described by Sigmund Freud, "uncanny". Sometimes these experiences are so vivid that it feels like either I am dreaming it or have previously experience it in my dreams. But the confusion as to when and where is so very great too!

Indeed that is dejavu. I like to think that maybe we aren't just feeling like we have been there before, maybe in a past life we experienced something similar.

I have experienced it many times. there was even an incident where it happened 3 times, same situation. We have discussed it during our psychology class back in college and our professor said that its actually just a trick of the mind. Impulses elicited by our brain are the once responsible for it. Thats why it makes it seems that we have experienced it before because the electrical impulses in the brain goes to the memory portion of the brain.

I have always experienced that dejavu is a moment when something that has happened to you before is happening again. it can be an eerie feeling and a spiritual one as well.
