in the end, n0thing in this world is ours to keep... so i wonder, why do we all struggle to gain financial and material wealth? why do you think all of us people have this same goal in our list of things to do. would it matter whether we gain material things or n0t when its our time to go and leave this world? what do you think?

Well, what we need to always remember is no matter what what matters to one person might not be important to the next, but when it is time to go when God decides to call us home, no matter what we have, it will matter no more as we cannot take it with us. To me, gaining material things and riches is not important if you allow it to overtake you and forget about everyone else.

Knowing fully well that material wealth destroys the blissful state of peace of mind, most of are determined to amass whatever we can . At times people turn to money making without any qualms of conscience. The whole world is pitiably losing moral values.

Often we think that we need to have material things in order to survive. We think they will make us happy. Material things are sometimes necessary for us to have but they will not always bring the happiness that we seek to our lives.

You ask why do we struggle to gain financial and material wealth. I think we struggle to continue living. People don't get contentment. Wealth is the price we get when we strive hard. When we strive hard, we get perks that makes life pleasurable. The perks we get motivates us to strive for more and so becomes a cycle. What do you think?
