Has God Forsaken Us?

You remember the words of Lord Jesus Christ: "My God! Why have You forsaken Me?" followed quickly by "Paid-in-Full (though most translate it 'It is Finished'). Father, into your hands I commend my spirit."
I do not accept humanity's guess at what God's answer was. I accept what the events seem to say it was (what the Holy Spirit sees). The way I read it, all power is man's (understanding of God's Laws which only he could defy, now 'undefiable'; strength relying upon the friendliness of fellow humans to bear it up; etc.)
Because of Lord Jesus Christ, we don't owe God anything and God doesn't owe us anything. It's right to appreciate God for creating all things that are now totally Humanity's ('paid-in-full' by Lord Jesus Christ); it's sad that we humans are so unwilling to share (out of fear that no one else will share with us), but that's our decision

God is not the author of evil. The book of James says every good gift comes from above. God allows the consequences of sin to buffet us in order that we may come back to Him and find life.

But what if we HAVE to hurt someone? Who/what has the authority to do such a thing?
