Well, on my previous post that I mentioned about my friend didn't show up at work for couple of days, and I was worrying about him. Not until last night, I got his message from facebook telling me that he actually quit that job. He got fed up with the supervisor, along with some other co - workers too. They just treated him like "slave" rather than human beings. When he had enough, he simply bring the badge to the human resource office, without telling his supervisor, and walk out there. Oh my God, I just couldn't believe he would do it for real. Once he told me that he had enough for this job, but I couldn't imagine that fast. So, he recently found another job too, that is a relief. I hope that he would do well on this new job of his.

I'm glad that your friend is okay and has another job now. Fingers crossed lessons will have been learned from everyone involved to try to prevent such situations occurring in the future.
I've made a lot of mistakes with jobs in my life, however I have learned from them and know that I won't make the same mistakes ever again.

I have faced politics at work place and it was really worst. My co worker was bit*#chy and she somehow manage to do some trick and made me look bad in front of supervisor. She even took all credit for work and blamed all errors on me.I too quite job long ago and started my own business. Its wonderful.I am my own boss. There is no one to bit$ch here and take steal credit of my work

Brave, but if he had not found the other job, it might look silly on him and the supervisor might have had the last laught.
Do advise him to treasure his current job, unless he really doesn't need the income.

Your friends decision is very correct. We have rights to go for a better job. After they treat him as a slave then how he manage there, its risky. In my side, his decision is correct. Me too wish him to hope all success in his life...

what a dramatic exit
let's just hope that when his current job's hr calls up his previous job's hr, they don't divulge too much information about the unprofessional manner in which he exited.
it may seem exciting and he may look like a hero to some but if we examine the situation more, we can actually see how wrong he was. and how unprofessionally he handled the situation.

Cool man, sometimes i also feel annoyed of stupid superior especially the superior that treat their team members like dog.
But i will make sure i get a new job before i resign. For me, it's a bit risky to resign before i get a new job unless i have a big amount of money in my bank account.

Well i do hope your friend enjoys his new job now. hard to get good jobs around here if you want them. It only shows that you work like a slave here or go away. Talent can take you so far only.
How come they treated him like a slave? And that too the co workers? Aren't they supposed to be like a union or something? And i am glad that your friend quite. But he should have at least told you or something but now i guess he did!
Cheers!

Good for your friend to be able to say it's over to his old job. I wish him luck in his new job. Hope he doesn't meet same kind of people in there. Hope he will stay long there because they say "rolling stone gather no moss". He might keep on transferring jobs all his life. Maybe it's also about time he start to adjust with his associates. :-)

I hope he does well on his new job too and gets treated right this time. I know exactly what he went through and I had to leave my job also and find something better.

I see. I am like your friend too. When I am unhappy with my job I just quit. I don't mind being call irresponsible because they are just the same attitude too?

I am sorry that your friend did not tell you up front that he quit, but I can understand. My husband gets treated badly at work, but yet he is stuck there because that is pretty much our only main source of income. I am glad that your friend was able to find another job so quickly especially in this tough economy.

It feel sad when some of your friends from your workplace would quit the job for some reasons. I just know the feeling like that especially when you are already in a very good relationship with that person and you go to your office and they are not there. Working isnt as fun as it is, well not anymore.

That's great you finally heard from him...and it's also good that he has got another job in a short time. Maybe he realized it was just too much for him to bear so he quit his job...
