Economy edition of softwares for developing & underdeveloped countries?

Do you think software companies should launch economy edition of softwares for developing & underdeveloped countries?
Just like 'paperback edition' for costly books.
It will increase their sell in developing & underdeveloped countries and will prevent the use pirated software.
What's your view?

Good Idea.India being a Software Hub,We Indians should try to develop software and Sell it a affordable price.It's high time We stop depending on softwares upon foreign software companies.
