I do post personal quotation depending on my moods and perception in life during the day but i dont think Facebook is a good place to discuss ideas as some of my quotation did not receive any comment or likes. And If so happen only those that agrees with my thought was commenting. I prefer Mylot for discussion. Coz aside from getting different views I also earn from my thoughts and ideas.

Andrew has already said it. But I'd like to add something which I think is important for the rest to know. I do have an account with FB but, like Andrew, I have deactivated it temporarily. I only use FB to promote my online business referrals or anything of that sort. As a social network, I would rate mylot as a far better forum. There is also matesgates - a social nework that I recently joined. I think myLot amd matesgate are far better than face book for two main reasons. 1) Both myLot and mategates pay you to join and participate in its activities while FB does not. With matesgate, members get 90% of the profit that the network makes - 50% for featured members and 40% for ordinary members. With mylot... I don't have to explain, I guess. If you're interested to join matesgate, you are most welcomed to do so. But do me a favour...you can quote me as your referer or just check on this: http://www.matesgate.biz/refs?Judewang 2) Many people are still unaware that FB has recently been used as a tool of the CIA. You can check these links to find out more: (O dear... I still can't copy and paste) i) http://webupon.com/social-networks/facebook-a-dream-come-true-for-the-cia/?fb ref=fb activity ii) http://www.youtube.com/watch v=VBjkMYs5kI&feature=player_embedded I have a lot of friends who are using FB without being aware of its status and I am trying intorduce them to myLot and matesgate, not just for business reasons. anyway, having said these, in the end it's up to you. If you want an alternative to FB you have it there in matesgate since you are already a myLot member.

No, it's better to discuss your opinion here in mylot, because all mylotters will respond and comment on your post aside the earning points of course, unlike in Facebook only friends and friends of your friends are allowed.

I believe that's nothing wrong about sharing your ideas with your friends at facebook this is a free country and you can express whatever you want.Just be cautious to those who want to mess up to this kind of social networking.

I think that facebook is a good site and everyone uses it these days although I prefer not to. I had an account but I deactivated it as I was hearing so much news about how hackers were targeting facebook and I thought to myself what the hell, best to be safe than sorry. Once you reveal any kind of information on facebook that information is open to the world in my view. Having said that I guess the facebook creators are starting to improve things on the security front. I suppose facebook is good for that, holding discussions and chatting about different things and so forth. Just make sure that your contacts are your friends. Andrew

Halu housamazmi, you know i'm so glad there's a facebook, becoz my long long lost friends from secondary and my friends from college we met,see (through pictures)and keep in touched in facebook, we search one by one then till we find and a little time more to complete our group of friends. see, without facebook, you just thinking of your friends where is she/he,hows his'her status now,etc..but thanks of technology and facebook made as a whole. and that's why i absolutely agree that i will express my ideas, opinions, feelings, on facebook but of course we should know our limitations.becoz if it is confidential there is a chatting area so that it will not post.facebook also is something so fun to keep in touched with our families and friends, you can also have many friends as you can if you want. it is also a great tool of updating news, current events and interesting things happening, and one thing more facebook also used for business like when you sell a products, you just picture it then post it. it's so fun having it,add me on your FB my dear hehe, kidding. thanks GOD BLESS

Yes, I do share my ideas or my thoughts on Facebook but it isn't like anyone comments or "likes" them so I am not sure if anyone reads them. I guess that my ideas are not relivant to anyone really but whatever. It's not really a good place to share your ideas if no one will listen to them.

i love facebook and i'm using it everyday but i believe it is not the best place to discuss ideas especially if the idea concerns personal matters.a year ago, i had a problem very personal. i was really upset, and because i'm an active facebook-user, i didn't avoid to post shoutout on my facebook wall depicting how i was feeling that time.many facebook friends of mine had commented on my post which i replied with honesty. i never had an idea that i was committing a very bad thing. it was like, i gave the public the authority to encroach in my private life.my mother-in-law and my brother-in-law, who are both my facebook friends happened to read about my sentiments. besides my husband, i really hurt them so badly. now, i learned my lesson.
