What is the organization and what is it about them that you like and you have supported them? I know there are a lot of organizations around the world, local and international that we know, of course... Amongst all those that you know, what in particular did you support and why?
For me, i support WWF, the world wide Fund and the one that supports children to study... its called world vision. these both are known here in the Philippines and well, i guess of course that is why i have given my support in these organization. There is also the UNICEF, that is more known and i guess, a bit older than the two.
What about yours?

I belong to a civic organization known as Quota International. We help the hearing impaired, disadvantaged women and children. It is the oldest women's organization in the world. Here in Iloilo, Philippines we have a school for our hearing impaired children. In the school they are taught how to sign so that they can communicate with our hearing impaired and become better citizens. The school is run through donations from our Sister Quotarians from all over the world. The provincial government's counter part is the salary of one teacher. We currently have 20 multiple level student population.

I have always been a big supporter of the American Red Cross. I have relied on them when my now ex-husband was in he military & was on assignment. The ARC came through for us and helped to bring him home in a time of need for our family. I have supported them through out the years by donating my money and my time. I was for a time a certified CPR/First Aid instructor for our local chapter and I spent many of my Saturday's volunteering to teach those weekend classes. I firmly believe in what they do.

I currently support KIVA, which is an organization that helps to provide micro-loans to individuals and groups in poorer countries. I love this charity because most of the individuals are entrepreneurs and business owners who are trying to grow, expand and develop their businesses. It is a true pleasure to be able to assist them as they try to strengthen their families and communities.
Another organization that I wholeheartedly support is called, Keep a Child Alive, which provides anti-viral medications to children, adults and babies in Africa. I am a firm believer in the notion of being our brother's keeper.
I support my local Goodwill and often give away clothing and household goods that my family no longer needs or uses and lastly, everyone can be someone's hero by checking out wishuponahero.com.

I'm part of the organization of Rotary club. Well, I'm still young so I belong to those rotaractors, and I'm one of the leaders. Rotary club is well-known all over the globe and they promote not just camaraderie, they also provide scholarships, help to those who experienced calamities, feeding programs and a lot more, that people don't recognize much. But that's what we call true service.
We think of others before ourselves. We have a motto "service above self".
