Was your baby like that? He doesn't solid very much so he only eat a little bit each time that might be why he is not getting enough and he still wants to nurse every 2 to 2 1/2 hours. So I do that, I give him 2 to 3 solid meals a day, nurse him little bit before or after having solid. And he seems to be okay, is that okay if I do that for supplement? Because he seems to be hungry all the time. Anything to share please?

Ohhhhhh eating every 2 hours then your baby will so healthy. Generally people eating 2 to 3 times once a day but your baby eating in every two hours. This is not good for health you should do check up of your baby.

I think that it is pretty normal. If you are still worried that he is eating so often I would try giving him some baby oatmeal. I know a lot of doctors say to give them rice, but I found that rice makes them really gasy instead of filling them. I found that baby oatmeal helped my daughter feel fuller and she wouldn't need as many feedings as she got older. Hope that helps out.

You didn't say how old your son is. I assume that he is old enough to eat solid food, since you're feeding it to him. I would cut out the nursing before he eats-feed him his solid food and then nurse him a short time after he's finished eating. This keeps him from filling up on milk, gives his body time to decide whether or not he's still hungry-that tummy to brain signal or vice versa thing-and he may not be hungry as often.

Sorry about that, my son is almost 7 months old. I do that, I nurse him little bit after giving him solid if he still seems to be hungry or he only eats a little bit in his meal, otherwise, I won't nurse him.

Yeah thats fine. Give him all he wants from nursing and soilds. My son was like this till he finally started taking in more soilds, His not a big fan of them either.... some days he will eat soilds and others he will barely touch them. My son still wakes alot during the night too, and I tried giving him cereal about and hour before "bedtime" but that just made him worse and refused to go to bed at all for 3 hrs after ....
