We should enjoy eating ^_^

It seems like there are always reports or surveys about this food is harmful and that food is bad... sounded like we just cannot eat anything then I think it is true that if we over eat some food would give us problem but as soon as we have self control when it comes to eating, we should be fine. Tasty food is always 'problem', but if we have this in mind all the time, how can we enjoy food? I like eating and I don't think about it too much when eating What do you think?

My family loves to eat. I suggest since all the foods available now are really full of preservatives and other chemicals that is bad for our body, we have to take our favorite food in moderation for us not starve our self.

i think we should eat what we want in moderation and that includes the food we think we shouldnt eat. as long as we exercise then we can enjoy all food, especially if we find it really tasty. diets are no good as they dont really help, yes they may help lose weight but people usually put that back on. so i say eat what you want in moderation, exercise but doesnt have to be vigorous and enjoy.

I agree with you. I also don't agree that some people seem to be careful about the food. For example, some people say it is not good to eat chocolate. Whereas I think it is wrong. It is not only delicious, but also gives us a good mood. Of course eating a lot of chocolates is not good, but it is the same for all kinds of the food. Eating one food a lot all the time is not good since the nutrition is not balanced. And eating healthily doesn't mean that you will be healthy. So why not enjoy the food when we are able to eat them at present? I love China

Too much of even water is bad. The key is to do things in moderation. But some people have a problem controlling themselves.

I love to eat and I love to cook good things. I´m sure that if we eat a reasonable amount of food and we use good ingredients, no harm will come. Tasty food is ok, if we eat some of it and some veggies (they are yummy too) and maybe some fruits. All of that is wonderful!

ya..we should enjoy bt I do not like the veggies with lots of chilli. And I also do not like chinese....They are not so good as Indian food is. I love the Indian food....thanx

Just like you, I too love eating. Most of the times its good food and I have no control over it. Though I keep my mature age in mind and my metabolism rate is not what it used to be (I don’t wont to become fat), I just cant ignore good food. Also I’ve seen that if we eat with an open mind and enjoy the food, it doesn’t cause any harm to us. What I mean is that nowadays, I see many mothers fussing over the eating habits of their kids, like don’t eat street food, wash your hands everytime before eating, wipe the plates clean before eating at restaurants etc etc., but I’ve always maintained that street food increases the immunity and digestive capabilities of our stomach, only if we eat it with pleasure and don’t try to look for hidden germs and infections. Yes, there are places which even I would avoid on hygienic grounds but in general, most outside food is OK for me. Regarding junk food, I try to avoid the deep fried ones but the rest are absolutely OK for me.

I enjoy and love to eat too, especially when the food is my favorite. I do control what I eat specially when I didn't see how did they prepare it, but there is a big but there I don't control eating when it taste good. I can't control myself its tasty and mouth watering that when It's all over I still crave for it.

I came from a culture where food is always enjoyed. Specially with company. And yes it is sad when news comes out where certain foods turn out to be bad. I think too much of anything is bad anyway. So anything in moderation should be no problem. And should be enjoyed. I enjoy eating too.

These certain kinds of food may be harmful to us if we are also feeling something in our bodies. Like for example, my dad has diabetes and it has been said that almonds are good for him but it cant be cause he also has hypertension. I guess the best thing to do is be healthy so we wont find any problem about a certain food.

It is to the point that sometimes I feel that breathing alone is harmful. lol But like most anything else in life we should be responsible enough to balance and delineate what we should and should not be eating. Personally I am a very healthy eater, but I do have my days that I just have to have the yummy not so good things to eat, and while eating them from time to time, I am merely concentrating on how yummy it is.

It is also important to watch out what we eat but like I won't have fried chicken all the time but once in a while is fine things like that.

That's very true. They scare us to eat this and that, so is there anything left to eat without fearing that it is harmful? For me, as long as i eat in moderation, it's alright with me. Those foods that are considered sinful or harmful to eat, i eat them once in a while but would eat lots of fruits after that, to counter it.

I believe that we really have a freedom in choosing the food that we want to eat. We are given this privilege so that we can enjoy eating. We can eat all we want for as long as we do not eat those food too much. Because if we do it, that is the time when problems do appear. ^^

This is a very good subject, I am sorry I didn't come up with it before:) In my opinion, as kids, we eat anything we want whenever we want regardless of what we hear. As soon as we grow a little and the pain starts to show how weak we are, we start concerning about our health. I consulted a nutritionist last ear, and she told me what to eat after she saw my blood type. I have to admit it was useless because I came back to university and I forgot about it all.

I do think that every day we hear different things about certain foods and it is very difficult to decide what is safe and good to eat compared to what could potentially make us sick. Personally I don’t pay a great deal of attention to what I hear about food because over the years I have learnt to listen to my common sense and to my body and what it craves and needs at certain times. Moderation is the answer for me. I eat anything I want within reason and my own body lets me know when I need to increase the fruit and vegetables etc.

me too, I really enjoy eating especially when I'm with my whole family. But as we grow older, of course we also have to check our diet,like dont eat too much fat and those food with high contents of sugar... we love eating but of course we dont want to get sick :)

There's no problem in eating as long as it's in moderation. Like they say, too much of something is bad. I totally agree with that. I love eating, especially when my favorite food is served on the table. But sometimes we need to think of the effects if we overeat. Personally, I don't want to be obese and we all know when you're obese, you also have a lot of complications. So I think, it's better to eat in moderation than to suffer a lot from overeating.
