Instead of studying at night, it'll be more helpful if you study in the morning. Early in the morning is what I mean! maybe from 4-6 a.m. will be the ideal time to study! Anything you study at the start of the day will remain for long! The problem studying at night is that, you'll have thoughts running inside you about the whole day and everything that happened that day, thus you lose concentration very soon! But morning it doesn't happen because its just the start of the day!
At the beginning you'll feel sleepy, so to avoid that, write and practice for sometime and then you can start studying!
Cheers!
Good luck!

Each person learns differently. But reading and reviewing over and over until you understand works for most. Look up words you don't understand. Take notes and/or highlight important stuff. You need to take breaks from intensive study. Regular breaks help you stay focused.
