Anger for Ford pardoning Nixon got us Carter. Disappointment with Carter got us Reagan. Bush Sr. breaking his "No New Taxes" pledge got us Clinton. Clinton's lack of character got us Bush Jr. Anger at Bush Jr. got us Obama. US Voters get mad at one party, so they give power to the other one... but when they get mad at the other one, we just give the power back to the first.
Neither the RNC or DNC give a crap about anything but focusing our frustration at "the other one". There are no plans, there are only targets. There are no goals, only re-elections. Neither party deserves our respect or support.

my sentiments exactly. I can't subscribe to either party as there are issues with both that I agree and disagree on. I wish they'd just do away with the "parties". I am so tired of the mudslinging and in the meantime no candidate really states what they actually can do or will do. it sucks.

We did see some results from the last election. We did get a few spending cuts and there is hope for more to come. We have governors who are tackling the out of control state spending and make real changes in the way they do business. The voters have spoken and have to keep speaking and we will see changes. Look at the number of big spending congressmen who "retired" last year when the people spoke. Keep voting and we will have success.

You are 100% correct. Despite that both the RNC and DNC have coffers full of donations from morons who just flood them with money for the party and when asked if someone would vote for "a generic candidate" from a party the majority from each party always chooses generic candidates.

If people would just realize how they are being played maybe things would be different.
I think the country would change dramatically and for the better if people would just realize that politicians do NOT have their welfare at heart--they are there for their own enrichment and don't give a damn about the people they work for. Every time they open their mouths it's to advance their own agenda and add to their own wealth, often at the expense of their constituents.
Until America realizes this we are doomed to suffer these parasites. Unfortunately, we are (as a general group) so in need of believing that people care about us that we'll vote for anyone who pretends to. We want our employers to care about us, our sales clerks and hell, we even seek a personal relationship with our oil changing facilities! We've GOT to get over this crap about needing our hands held all the time and wanting everyone to love us. Then maybe the country can start getting back on its feet again.

We have been brainwashed into being perfect little victims. I know, I fight it all the time within myself. I was fortunate to find a great therapist...his name is Jesus Christ!

So, it would take some heavy duty organizing and contributing $ and then choose our own candidate. Are we not a majority? Massive emails and grassroots action within the Tea Party could do it?

True my friend.. and I think of people like you a lot when I hear Americans whine about how "inconvenient" voting can be.
I think I'll just refer them to you when they do!

It's sad that politics is not about "how I can improve the country" but about making yourself look like the lesser of two evils!
