Do you use fake tree at chrsitmas or do you use real tree?

we use a fake because its just easier! plus logan likes to eat anything off the floor...didnt think needles would be to great!

We use a fake tree. It is easier with kids.

I wonder which will have the greatest long-term effects on the environment? 1) Artificial Trees ... made from numerous synthetic materials. (Are any artificial trees recyclable?) 2) Real Trees ... which are planted, grown, and cut specifically for Christmas. Either way, it seems like a waste of time and resources for a silly tradition that has nothing to do with anything ... other than COMMERCIALISM. And, btw, how many people are killed every year by Christmas trees? How many houses burn down because of them? IMO, hauling a tree (whether real or artificial) into your home and decorating it was kitschy ornaments, only to tear it all down a few weeks later, seems like a big waste of time.

I prefer fake tree's as well for the same reason mine goes up after halloween too you taught me well..

We've ALWAYS had a real tree, it's a tradition, this year I find out I'm allergic to pine, and I've always been ill at Christmas, go figure,so...this year we start a new tradition, of a permanant fake tree!! lol, wish me luck!!

I use a fake tree. I hate stepping on the needles of real trees. They are everywhere and really hurt.

when i lived in FL i had a real tree i figured thats all i could have considering i didnt get a white Christmas but now that i live in PA i have a fake tree. i get the cold and the white Christmas so i went with the less hassel fake tree

i like the real ones, but i dont' have any room in my house. so i bought a small fake one with optical lights, my boys love it. they think its pretty.

I have a fake one for many reasons: my cats like to eat the real tree, my dogs drink the water bucket from the real tree, I hate cleaning-up pine needles and it takes too much time to find the one you like every year!
