Today, I saw a news that a boy, about 10-15 yrs of age, left her family because according to him he is not happy with them because they don't have computer, cellphones or any gadgets like the others, his parents are so limited in giving him money..What do you think mylotters, do family provide everything?

That's really not a good reason for him to leave his family. It's not like he was being abused or anything. He left because his family didn't have all the latest gadgets out there. A family is more important than material possesions and money. I wish more kids here in America could see that.

I think they should've raised him knowing that stuff isn't important. Family is. Also, they may not be able to afford it. Times are tough. That shows what the parents didn't do. Very sad.

That's not a good attitude, even though he don't have any kind of high-tech gadgets and computers, he does not need to go away. He must learn to ask for what he need to his family. Those parents need to guide and discipline their child. I know, I didn't what really happened but living the family in a young age and because of just a high-tech thing... That's not right!
