People in older times do make an extra effort to help the needy. They pursue charity by opening up hospitals, schools, shelters for the homeless and donating money for causes that can aid the underpriveleged. These deeds are noble because they are able to relieve people from their distress for the time being.
The greatest good, therefore, would be to help someone. This would automatically put the man on the road of health, wealth and happiness.

Very well said and very true. I wish for every one on mylot to read this and try just doing something small for some one. I love helping people and I devote a big part of my life to that. The smallest good deed will make you and the person feel better
