I was so scared!

Early this morning, one of my dogs ran away when my mom left to go to work. Then, she woke me up saying that one of them had escaped and she couldn't go to looking for it because was too late. So I went with my younger sister to look for our dog, but we couldn't find it. A couple of hours later, he appeared dirty and in a strange way, he did enter the house and looked very weak, dozing and at one point he fainted. My heart stopped for a few seconds, I though he was dead, but then we did realize that he was breathing. So we take him to his bed and opened his eyes very gently, but sometimes, couldn't even open his eyes. He is always very playful and mischievous, so to see it that way, we knew he was very sick. We tried to find a car to go to the vet, but nobody wanted to take us with a dog, finally, my one of my sister's friends who own a car, offered to take to us. The doctor said that he had been poisoned, with some hits and hypotermia, because of poisoning. There are many people around here who don't like animals and are capable of anything. This had never happened to my dogs, but I heard from other dogs that had been poisoned, by these people I guess.
Now he is a bit better, he drinked lots of water and threw something that he had ingested, but he is still in a bad way.
I'm too much upset and sad and scared, I just want to cry and kill everybody around here. They mess with my baby, I want to find those people and kill them, but maybe is not a solution.
What do you think that I should do? Maybe call the police is not a solution, they don't even care the people, and if we don't know who those people are, they won't listen to us. And the worst of all, we don't have animal control here in my country.

I'm sorry to hear about that! Unfortunately, there will always be people like that in the world. The good news is that your dog is well and from now on, make sure he is safe and stays on your property. Unfortunately, you can't control others actions, but you can control your own. I'm glad to hear your dog is okay though!

Best solution I guess tie your dog whenever someone will open the door. Protect your pet!

yeah, I agree with you if that happens to my dog I don't know what will I do poor dog...there are people who hates dogs even the dog don't do harm, I hope people might change maybe an awareness will do, there are animal society you can go to i think....but to bad here in our country there are few laws for animal rights. That's why you just have to protect your dog ..
