No money in poetry..

When I first started thinking about earning money for being online(yeah it's about time haha) , I asked myself what is it that I like doing most during my spare times. And I thought of writing poems. At first it was just for fun, you know, expressing in words my feelings when I am depressed, happy, hungry, bored or even when I don't have enough.
I write about things that affected me, mostly affairs of the heart and support for animal rights and feminism.
When I made a dozen good ones(in my opinion), I thought of finding a website to publish them and was desperate to have a Google Adsense account. I did it! I found this kool publisher/website who gives me all the support and I got my application approved by Google.
You think I got rich? (^_^)
I realized , I still need to learn how to drive traffic to my pages, but how many people online would really have the time to grasp the essence of a poem. And learning more about search engine optimization and keyword selection is really mind-boggling sometimes although i know with a little more patience , I might be a millionaire writing poems.
Free to dream (^_^)...

I agree with your opinion.
but why not think about their own website or blog to write only poetry.
I wish you success.
and may claim that there is no money in poetry has become money in poetry.
nice day!
