Do you miss the trees?

Yes I do. I am mid20s and when I look back, things are quite different now. When I was a kid there were lots of trees everywhere. You can find shade anywhere. Seeing trees make me feel peaceful, and makes a place lively. I was talking to my friends about it and we decided to take on a tree planting activity around June. Today, a lot of places look so hot and empty, dull, lifeless. I still want my future kids to see a real tree and not just a photo. :)

That is a good idea. Planting trees, great. Where I live now, there are trees everywhere. I love it here. I have been living in Berlin for 4 and a half years. They have lots of parks and trees everywhere, it is great.

That is indeed great! :) Take care of it, not many have a place like yours.

So true. When I was a child we had so many trees and so many woods to play in. Now when I visit those areas, the woods or the trees have been completely removed and there is another building there. I think we need to chill out with wrecking the beauty of the planet. I want my kids to be able to run off into the little woods by the house like I did. There was so much to do, so many things I learned, so many friends human and animal (There were a few deer that didn't run from us and there was a squirrel we used to feed). Now, there's just buildings everywhere.

I agree. When I was little, the first time I saw a city, I was like wowed. Now, I remember how our environment was like before, and I truly miss it. I want others to enjoy it too.

Hi.. At first i applaud you for your plan. I am an animal and environment activist, hence i feel the importances of trees as we are suffering from global warming. So great decision indeed. Best of luck.

Thanks! Yeah, me too. I remember my grandma telling me before that when she was a kid, the world was so different. I am determined to bring a few good things as I grow older. I do want my future kids to know oxygen from a tank only. :P
