My job is translate English Stardand into chinese, now I'm puzzled with this stence:"The force-measuring mechanism of the machine shall allow little or no movement of the fixed jaws in the direction of the applied force." I can translate it to chinese word by word, but I don't know the meaning of it..could help me?
