Well, it is only natural for someone to be worried about their future. Especially when they are about to graduate. This is actually a normal thing, and personally I think to be expected. And since jobs are sometimes harder to come by these days in a lot of areas, this is an expected fear as well. Personally I would think the Best thing is for him to find ways to sell himself. Get himself a good resume and get tips from others working in the fields he is interested in. If he is willing to not give up and keep applying himself something Great is bound to come up for sure.

Just tell him to focus on his studies. He's there in school to learn, attend all his classes as much as possible and if he can't understand the lesson, he should not hesitate to ask questions to his teacher. That learnings in school will be his weapons in the world of jobs. So, he should study well and treat it as a contest, he should be one of the best students in his school. And he should remember that not all people are taking the same course so he will have an advantage on that field. Just focus on it. He can do that, believe on himself, tell that to him. Have a nice day! :)

Tell him not to be worried :) just finish his course, understand all his lessons :) and I am sure he'll find a job that fits him. He needs to boost up his confidence :)
