How do you know if your child is being bullied in school by his/her classmates. What are the signs.. and what you should do in order to stop this.. What are the things that have to be done in order for the child to bring back the eagerness of the child to go back to school and study just like before.
What are the bad effects of bullying in a child's development.

First thing, its not the child who being bullied fault, and as soon as the child realized that, the better they will feel about themselves. To Stop bullying, it needs to be a punishable crime. It would lessen the amount of persons practicing it. And my next thought is the children who are doing the bullying needs help, there must be some sort of family dysfunction or social malfunction in that child life or the parents are just not paying attention. Also children learn from their parents. Bullying isn't only in schools its also found in the work place. Children who bully others either grows up to be wife beaters, violent to others or someones boss. So it's a cycle in our society and it needs to stop. If we want a better future for our kids.

I like your answer.. I agree with you that the bully kid will take it even when he grows up and will be also violent to his kids. As I the first thing to do is to call the parents of the bully kid and the kid as well to inform them of the behavior of their kid and this will serve as warning to their child. If he does not correct his behavior then there is no alternative but to expel the child.. It is unfair to other kids and the victim to suffer the consequences of his actions That is the only way!

I have a nine year old daughter who is a very sensitive and gentle soul. I do fear her being bullied and I am aware of the many signs which may indicate things are not as they should be. I think it boils down to knowing you own child and keeping the communication open. We ‘ve had talks about bullying and I explained she must come to me if anyone is making life difficult and how important it is that bullies be stopped. I can only hope now that she will talk to me about any problems at school especially bullying.

Things like this should be stopped and the teacher and the school should take upon themselves to stop this as this is their responsibility to take care of the kids. We entrust them our kids trusting that they will care for them. Likewise, the parents of the bully should be summoned to the school to inform them maybe because they are not also aware of the actions of their kid and for the bully to undergo counseling as well.
