Hey mylotters,
I was actually thinking about the past 1 month regarding the weight loss programs....and have asked many of my friends and relatives like how to loss the weight, how much time does it take to reduce 5kg's bla bla....some of my friends told me to go to VLCC...(space to exercise)and some told me to have only wheat not rice...but today i have received a mail in that there's a diet listed for 7 days(there is a brief description of the each day) and can reduce 5 to 6 kg's of our weight in 1week....told like for each day there's a brief description of the diet like for one day only fruits except banana and no other thing should be eaten on that day and a cup of rice can be taking in the middle of the day....and for the other days also the same thing...
My question here is eating fruits only reduces the weight???I think we will be tired as the whole day we will be working. And that to for one week.....

i don't go with any fancy diets. i just like to keep it simple and not eat 2-3 hours before sleep. at those times i like to do a couple of small choirs around the house. its nothing intense. i just walk and get some things done in the house before sleep. that way way i burn some calories while not eatting and then get 8 hours of sleep in with no food. i'm practically losing weight while sleeping. i'm in a state of hunger in sleep. i just can't be phased because i'm sleeping and can't feel the hunger.

The ONLY thing that will reduce your weight is eating fewer calories than you use. If your daily routine uses 2000 calories a day and you eat 1500, you will lose weight; if you eat 2500 calories a day, you will gain weight. It is that simple. Either you eat less or you exercise more (or both).
Learn what your daily calorie requirements are here: http://walking.about.com/cs/calories/l/blcalcalc.htm and then calculate the calories in your food. Some days you may eat fewer calories and occasionally you may eat more but, over a week, your calorie intake should be LESS than your expenditure.
