Japan may be the first to spring to your mind with it's legendary work ethic, but according to the latest study by the Orgnization of Economic Co-operation and Development, Japan comes the second place with an average of 540 minute, or nine hours spent doing paid work and chores such as shopping and coocking. The hardest working country in the world is Mexico!

The hardest working country in the world is Mexico! They even take a siesta in the afternoon. If only we were so smart! Italy is the only other one I know that does this. They seem quite happy. It would seem to do them good and I wonder why we never took up this habit.

Japan is the first country comes in my mind speaking about work hour, but I never know that Mexico comes on the first place. New knowledge! On thing that I'm sure is that Thailand won't be in the list. Normal work time for people working in the office would be 9.00 - 17.00, and what really happen for most people is they will come to work a bit late, and go home even before 17.00.... - -" I guess people working the hardest in Thailand is labor in slums, some might do the work 23hours a day and still they don't get enough money to pay for their food.
