They should move the TV on lower stool, at least only eye level so they do not need to stretch their necks.

hi jennyze, because of their space limitations they prefer to instal the TV at about 7 feet on height and it is really funny to see these people watching the TV just raising their heads. Sometimes,I feel wonder but cannot advice of say anything. Thanks for your suggestion....

Some are lucky enough to have a wide shop and some do not get a chance for a big shop - hence they have to adjust with what ever they have. Life is rolling - we have to role along with it......

having some amusement is better than sitting idling to wait for customers. I had accompanied one of my friends before who worked temporary in a boutique while waiting for her exam result. That's why I understand how bored she was. It's coincident that there was an electrical appliance shop next to boutique so she sometimes stood at the front aisle and enjoyed watching the big tv sreens placing high on the shelf in the front of the shop. There were so many tv playing different programs at the same time. This was to engage the interest of passerby to step in the outlet to purchase theie products. Don't worry busybee10, when they feel the ache on the neck surely they will have a rest or massage it at the same time if the program is really attractive. Idling time will pass easily if one has some thing interesting to do right?! Happy posting and have a nice day

I would think the reason the TV is so high is so the patrons can watch it too. If the TV is far away the angle of raising the neck is not bad. It is only bad with a high TV and the shop-owner right next to the TV. Zelo

Your thought is appreciable - but most this is not the case. The distance is too short and the tv is installed at a height. But for sure I feel this is not at all idle for any person. Still people prefer see eventhough they have the pain which they do not share with any one I feel.

It's not meant to be watched for long periods of time. It's there to entertain customers as they are waiting in line or for service. The reason it is so high is to probably keep it out of the way.

Yes,yes they normally they see the TV only in leisure hours and not in the business hours. But, it will be really humorous to see these people watching the TV progrmmes in a unique way bending their body and their neck raised sky high (totally unconfortable). Everyday I enjoy these scenes peeping into the shops while I return from my office hourse late in the evenings.
