I been listening to the gladiator soundtrack and my favorite song is between the battle, Honor him and Now We are free ( though it not in English I love it). I haven't seen the hole movie as yet, due to the length I always fall asleep, but I love the soundtrack, and it is one of Zimmer's best work.

The end credits track (we are free) is superb with mix, I love that one.

I agree with you that it's his best work.I especially enjoy Now We Are Free (maximus mix), it's in the second CD that came after the first edition.I like all versions of Now We Are Free.From the first CD I like The Wheat, it's sad, but I love it.Honor Him is good, and I enjoy the last part of Barbarian Horde where the music becomes brighter, rises,you can feel the spirit of the victory and imagine the cheer of crowd in the arena in that part.Very inspiring.

I am going to look for this second cd, and yes the last part of barbarian horde when the percussion is milder is the best. but to me it remain me of Pirates of the Caribbean. And I love the part when the percussion is louder. Enya version of Now We Are free is the best.
