Well yesterday I ended up in the E.R. because of severe upper abdominal pain. It started about two weeks after having my daughter and it is only when I eat certain foods. If I eat vegetables, or greasy food I get this severe pain a few hours after eating. Well it happened yesterday morning and I hadn't eaten anything since 12 hours the night before. So they find out that I have panreatitis and I have gall stones. So they tell me I have to wait for my pancreas to heal then next month I need to get my gall bladder out. Yuck. I am only 23 years old and imagine why I am already having these problems. So today I call my insurance, only to find out that my insurance runs out at the end of this month, and that they won't extend it for me to have my surgery. I'm just completely blown away that they won't at least cover me to have this surgery and to do follow to make sure everything is ok. On top of it all my two little girls aren't feeling well, so I'm trying to get them better while trying to take care of myself as well. I can't really eat much because I'm not allowed to have a lot of things so my pancreas can heal and they told me not to eat to often so it doesn't have to work as hard. Just a whole lot of ickiness. It just seems that this month has just been one thing after another. All I can do is pray that next month is better and we can get everything sorted out so that we all are healthy once again. Have you ever had a month like mine where it has just been one bad thing after another? How do you keep yourself from getting down about the whole thing? Has anyone else experienced gall bladder problems after having a child?

I have not to date had any gall bladder problems but do know a few people who have. I do hope this is taken care of so you can resume back to your self. About repeated problems in a month, oh gosh here I can related, however then I read your discussion and it reminds me that some people as yourself have it way worse. So my friend optimism, positivity and counting our blessings see us through the bad days. I hope you are feeling better soon.
