do you belief that we are alone in this world ?

I do not doubt that life exists throughout the universe. Intelligent life may be a bit more rare, but I'm sure it's also relatively prevalent. These life forms would also be nothing like anything we've ever seen or thought about before, because all life on earth has evolved from a common ancestor in relation to the earth's environment. Not knowing exactly what to look for makes detecting other forms of life even more unlikely. And of course, none of this life has ever, and probably will never, visit earth. However, I think it is impossible to reconcile accepting the vastness and diversity of the universe, and the life that must exist in it, and still believe in a god. After all, if Jesus was god's only son, sent to save his only children on earth, how can you accept that god would have created other life forms and let them suffer for eternity? Similarly, the other major religions (Islam, Judaism) still promote Earth as the only planet god really cares about.

As much as we lould like to believe that we are alone in this world, we can not always be certain of that fact. It is a vast universe. It is more than a possibility that we have to share it with someone out there.
