Fake antique

Yesterday when I went to a restaurant for lunch, on the way I witnessed the scene of making fake antique. It might be the most primitive method to do that. Two men who were dressed up as rural labourer take a sculpture from a bag. It was a stone or jade carving with the style of Chinese traditional mascot - a turtle with some gold ingot and copper coin carried on its back. Then they digged a lot of mud from a parterre on the side of the road and wrapped the sculpture with the mud. About a minute later, they clean the redundant mud and the sculpture have become old. The whole process was done in less than five minutes. After all they sat on the side of a main street with the "antique" in front of them to start their phishing. Who will be the fish?

Hi quianyun: That's so awful but that makes me think that a buyer you need to look carefully fo the things that you are buying to be sure that you are really buying an antique object. There are different signs that can't be cover and that help you to identify the quality of the object. ALVARO

Yeah, that's right. We must check carefully to ensure that our money is spend on the goods worth it. However, I tend to keep away from things such as antique because of lacking relevant knowledge.

Sadly some will be fooled by the fake antiques. Hopefully anyone with an eye for authentic will not think of buying them because that would be a major loss to then if per se they are collecting for later sale value. Sadly some people resort into such foolishness to earn by duping people.

Hi, hardworkinggurl! Cheaters are always exist just because the world never lacks fools. We must keep our eyes open and never be the fool. That's what we can do. But I'm curious how such a idiotic plan works. Thank you for responding! Have a nice day and happy mylotting!

hi gianyun what a nasty way to deceive and some will pay their outrageous p rices just to say they bought in whatever country they were within. sad to do that to unsuspecting people its just plain crooked . thats why I never buy from street people as you have way of proving the art work is antique or fake. When you go to a legitimate dealer you will be given the information on the piece you want and will be sure you are buying a real antique.

Hi, Hatley! I won't buy any antique because it's too difficult to distinguish fake ones. That's really a professional job, and antiques are not necessity for daily life.
