I'm not from USA, and here in my country, pancakes are not so common. I tried them several times, though, and I loved them. I searched for recipes on the internet and I tried them, but it never are as the ones that I have eaten. I'm pretty sure that many of you have much more ability making pancakes than me. Can you share your recipes with me? There's a common way to make pancakes? Please write all the amounts of the ingredients in tablespoons or teaspoons and cups. Thanks a lot!

The best thing to do is to go to the store and buy the pancake mix in a bottle all you have to do is add water and pour them in the pan and turn them and they are done real easy to make.....

Having spend some time in Canada I can says that their pancakes are exceptionally good ! But try and find decent Maple Syrup to have on them here in the UK is a nightmare ! Best I've found so far is from Bookers, anyone else had a similar problem and managed to overcome it ?

Hi millefeuille, I make my own mix of pancake using finely powdered rice with sometimes all-purpose refined flour or wheat flour. But mostly I make only rice flour pancakes in which I add a pinch of salt to taste. After I prepare the pancakes, I top it off with thick coconut milk into which either jaggery or sugar is dissolved. if I use the sugar, then I sprinkle a little cardamom powder over it. The coconut milk gives a great taste and flavour to the pancakes. If I use the mixture of rice flour and wheat flour, then I add into the batter grated carrots or apples to which a little cinnamon gives a nice flavour. It is basically all about experimenting and finding different combos which work best for you/ All the best. :)
