Well, first of all, do we get income by playing DOTA. I think not. Only the pro DOTA players who join competitions gain income. I think we should level up our socio-economic status and the economoy of our country, the Philippines. Oil prices are rising up. Don't waste time. Honestly, I played DOTA before but I wasn't happy. Let's just focus on our careers and enjoy the summer at the resorts.

I also used to play counter strike. I always use Sniper because it's an easy way to kill ;)

I used to play dota tournaments but i stopped not because of boredom but because my studying got in a way and such.
Dota playing is really a way for me to relax and enjoy life so i wouldn't mind playing a a game or 2 in a day. If you just focus on career or work or studies then why live life when you can't have happiness even if its an hour of pawning noobs or ganging up on a hero?

Maybe because DOTA is getting old. There are newer games that are being released but needs a faster processor, graphics card and RAM

Your right. The economy is so bad right now, making playing quality games such as DOTA not worthwhile. I also played DOTA 2 years ago, and I played it alot. Ever since I graduated from college it is more on finding jobs and earning money. I guess thats what we get for having a declining economy right now. I just wish that in my lifetime I would be able to enjoy playing video games again.

Yes. you can still play video games. There are new games that are being released and has better graphics than DOTA. Adults also need to play. Nintendo Wii is a nice game platform for us to exercise our bodies even though not too intense. It could help contribute to a healthier lifestyle

yeah. i agree on your point.. instead of wasting too much of our time playing DOTA and other games.. we should spend time wisely, focusing it more on our NEEDS and PRIORITIES.. :) but there's nothing wrong if you still play PC games. hehe :)

Yeah. we can have some fun with DOTA. but it's really hard to earn money using DOTA when your opponents are very skilled in DOTA though

It's one of the games I really enjoy playing. It develops many of your capabilities. Although I'm playing it only in my free time, to say like 4 times a week, I still learn things from it, I don't play it for income just for fun you know. Of course if I was a pro player I would want my efforts to get paid but I'm not.

hi francismalz!
yes i played dota 1 year before but i already stop , maybe because it is already hard to remove if you are addicted in this game , and i play at the computer shop as well to tell you i have to pay for internet , i have to pay my foods , i have also to pay a debit and something which my expenses going double now that i realize that spending money to much is difficult to find again that we need to save or money , i stopped playing because of this reason and a reason that i like to prioritize my studies before playing honestly when i play i cannot balance my studies and games. now i am happy that i stop playing ,

I enjoy playing DOTA, but not online anymore. The players were too rude and I suppose I was never good at it to begin with. I used to play with my friends on a network, but sadly, I always lost. XD It was always fun though. However, it irked me off (and still does) that my friends would give me a different treatment just because I was a girl. They would be either really easy on me, or would gang up on me. The second one wasn't as bad; at least they would actually think of me as player in the game.

I can still enjoy DOTA when I play it. Playing does not really waste time, especially if you are playing for fun and relaxation.
Philippines has a high rate of unemployment and a ew people who do nto do anything but play will not really change anything. Play all you want, you actually help boost the gaming shop industry, you help people earn. Just make sure that you are one who has some to spend.
