For me, I don't use much make up so I don't have a wide range of selections to base my judgements on. But I recently bought Revlon's Photoready foundation and I thought it was horrible. It leaves a bunch of shimmery sparkle on your face, which may be good for photos because it is meant to reflect light to reduce the appearance of imperfections.. but in daily life, it is kind of weird to see someone with a sparkly face. It's not even like a cute fairy kind of sparkle. It's more of a dusty sparkle.
I was shocked because there are so many positive youtube reviews about it, which makes me think they are a bunch of fake reviewers who are getting paid to say good things or something.. One of the reviewers said she wears it everyday, which I could not believe.
Anyway I want to know what are the worst make up products you have tried.. let's help each other out so that we don't end up getting the wrong thing next time!

I just never read reviews. A product may suit for that person, but if I don't have the same skin type probably won't suit for me.
I like to try products that are suited for my skin type, not some that I've read a good review or I've seen a TV commercial. And sometimes they don't work for me, but is always easy for me find the product that I love.

thats a smart idea, I try to find reviews from Asian people who have a similar skin tone, but it still doesn't help all that much. It's hard for me to find a product I like unless I go into the department stores where you can try everything. I only shop at small pharmacies and only some of the products can be tried out.

I would say the worst thing I have ever tried is a bronzer, which I wanted to use in the summer instead of foundation. It made me look yellow. I had some tinted moisturizer by Aveeno, and I loved how it looked, but I think I am allergic, my eyes water when I wear it. My favorite, and I know you did not ask that, is one I got to try for free as a Bzz agent. It is a product by CoverGirl and it is called NatureLuxe. It has silk and jojoba and cucumber water amongh other things and it is light and does not smear and seems to not even sweat off when I work out.
