Danica Magpantay: 2011 Ford Supermodel of the World Winner

Danica Magpantay won the 2011 Ford Supermodel of the Year, (formerly Face of the 80s.
I just saw this on a magazine and was so thrilled that finally a pinay bagged this title and she really deserves it.
She won over 50 other contestants and became now a well known model in the fashion industry. She won a $250,000 modeling contract with Ford Models.
I also read that she came from one of the best universities in our country which is University of the Philippines. I hope her career will soar farther and her career will lead her to be a well known model in the world.

i learned about that too., i was really proud. Igan of Unang hirit interviewed her in the morning show but omg my expectations kinda dropped. She sounded like a very young girl who doesnt know what to do. but i guess speaking in inerviews is not her forte although that could be helpful for her career as a model. i hope everything fares well with her

This was shown in Tv I guess a few weeks ago. She looks different from all the other contestant that's why she go noticed maybe. We always feel happy for our kababayans who wants to achieve their dreams. I heard there's also 2 other young pinays who are trying out in the modeling world, we wish them luck.
