what type of files i can send via using gmail as it doesn't attach .exe files

Dear friends, i am getting problem in sending files through gmails it is not sending exe files it said that you cant send files having this extention. can you please tell me how can i send file to my friend. What type of file format it support.

You can zip the file and send it successfully with no problems

i archived it to 7zip file and it worked successfully
i should have mentioned it before
but anyways
try 7zip and see
it worked for me

no dude it will not work even the zip files are not allowed in gmail this is bacuse of the security concern only the document and images are allowed and no other type of files are allowed you can't do that!!!!!!

One option is to rename the executable file extension to something else, example: myprogram.exe, rename it to myprogram._ then tell the person who will receive the email to rename it to myprogram.exe so they can run it.
