The new Macbook just came out and it looks really good. Currently I have a lenovo thinkpad, but it is runing kind of slow. I have always liked macbooks but was told i needed a pc for my program at school. After being here for 2 year, I can see that I could use a mac with no problem. Do you think it is work getting the new macbook??

I have honestly never owned a MAC before. I have always used a PC though. I think I would rather my PC because I used to all of its functions, features and recovery. Good luck with your MAC though.

buy more RAM to keep the machine running fast. if you multi task a lo (having a lot of windows open and running programmes in the background) you should seriously consider 2GB and above. I had an acer with 4GB RAM and I could have Photoshop and Illustrator on while surfing the internet with over 15 tabs. haha speed!

Hi Dunner, I would get the mac. Its 2011 range is awesome especially the quadcore i7 models. If you observe, the price for today's MBP is cheaper than the previous one, whats more its also a techno upgrade. So economically, its worth getting (upgrade + lower price).
I am going to get it anyway. Just waiting for the financial means.
What programme are you using anyway?
